TrueCrypt Ceased...What now??

True Crypt stopped its releases and updates/fixes, after 2014, May. Its developers stated that TrueCrypt is no longer safe and has certain issues. This software was very popular among people for its security and usability and for the reason that its free and Open Source. However when it was ceased, it was hard for many people to find an alternative with comparative security features. There are several options available for users which have similar properties, out of those one was most similar to TrueCrypt. VeraCrypt by IDRIX, which is based on TrueCrypt coding. It is the best known alternative to TrueCrypt.

VeraCrypt is very similar to TrueCrypt in function and operation providing very comprehensive security solution to those who are looking for a good encryption tool. Like TrueCrypt, VeraCrypt is Open Source and is free, meaning it's source code is available to users (developers) and can be customized according to their requirements. This software is highly recommended for those who seek for good encryption and ease to use and user friendly interface. It wont be difficult for users who are already familiar with TrueCrypt's UI as VeraCrypt has the same layout to TrueCrypt.
